The Kyrgyz Republic nestles in the heart of Central Asia, sometimes referred to as “Middle Earth”. Since the turn of the decade, the country has been propelled to international recognition, partly because of its geographic location, an abundance of minerals, the growth in ecological tourism and the economic and political stability. I like Central Asia in general when I think of possible next tiger economies, and in particular, I think that Kyrgyzstan might become the next tiger, so to speak, because of the ongoing reforms and structural economic liberalization shifts that we’re seeing today. These prerequisites of explosive, uncorrelated economic growth are giving investors an early-stage entry right now, in my opinion.
