Tamchy SFIT opens first business center for residents

The Tamchy Special Financial Investment Territory is opening its first business center on Lake Issyk-Kul. It will house the offices of the SFIT managing company — from this point on, Tamchy will officially begin engaging with the business community and process the first bids from would-be residents.

The 3,850-square-meter business center includes office space and coworking areas, as well as multifunctional conference halls and meeting rooms. A restaurant and café will open on the premises soon.

“The Tamchy SFIT comes at a time when international businesses are actively seeking new centers of trust. The opening of the first business center marks the start of the territory’s actual operational life. We are building financial and logistical bridges between the markets of the CIS, Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Africa — and today this bridge has its first address, where preparations are already underway to welcome the first residents,” said Ayaz Baetov, Chairman of the Management Council of the Tamchy SFIT and Minister of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Shortly before the launch of the business center, the Management Council of the Tamchy SFIT established a managing company, approved a development plan for the financial center, and adopted the first package of regulatory documents. At the same time, the selection of the chairperson and judges of the International Dispute Resolution Center is underway.

The Tamchy SFIT was established by Law No. 136 of the Kyrgyz Republic dated July 10, 2025, occupying an area of approximately 6,000 hectares on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul. Residents will benefit from a legal framework governed by English common law, a zero tax rate for a period of 49 years, and the right to 100% repatriation of profits. By 2035, the financial center is expected to have over 3,900 resident companies and create more than 10,000 jobs.
