President of Kyrgyzstan signed a law establishing Tamchy SFIT

President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov signed the law “On the Tamchy Special Financial Investment Territory with a Special Legal Regime and Status.” The document was approved by Parliament on June 19, 2025.

The law establishes the basic regulatory framework for the launch and operation of Tamchy. The document regulates the procedure for creating the hub, establishing its boundaries, and defining its operating principles. The main goal of the initiative is to stimulate the Kyrgyz economy, introduce international financial standards, and improve the overall investment climate.

According to the law, Tamchy will enjoy a special legal regime, providing a range of tax and legal incentives for businesses. These measures will help attract foreign and domestic capital to manufacturing, tourism, the health resort sector, and transportation infrastructure.

The document includes a separate provision authorizing the establishment of an International Dispute Resolution Center. The Center will resolve civil disputes involving residents in accordance with the rules and principles of English common law. This decision is intended to ensure a transparent legal environment and boost confidence among foreign investors.
