Tamchy SFIT Calls for Closer Int'l Cooperation in New Initiative Unveiled in Hong Kong

The Tamchy Special Financial Investment Territory (SFIT) has proposed a new international initiative aimed at bringing financial centres across Asia together to develop novel approaches to the design of next-generation financial jurisdictions — more adaptable, digitally integrated and equipped for the evolving needs of the global economy.
The NextFinance Initiative was unveiled at Hong Kong FinTech Week 2026, one of the world's most significant events in the area of finance and technology. It was introduced by Ayaz Baetov, First Deputy Chairman of the Tamchy SFIT Management Council.
At its core, NextFinance is about bridging the gap between the rapid technological change and existing financial infrastructure through a collaborative effort. The initiative envisages joint projects, institutional partnerships and exchanges.
Speaking at the forum, Baetov pointed out that with financial activity and its associated risks increasingly crossing borders, international cooperation is becoming more important than ever. He affirmed Tamchy SFIT's preparedness for international cooperation, exchange of experience and implementation of joint projects.
